December Benevolence – RMMO

In 1977, American Baptist Churches USA launched the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO) to continue this tradition of thanks.  Today, RMMO is a tangible way for the American Baptist congregations to say “Thank you for …” the commitment, service and spiritual guidance of retired ministers, missionaries and their widowed spouses.  (taken from their website)

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

It's that time of year again to be planning our "See The Lights" with Riverview Estates! This year we will be going to see Christmas lights on Thursday, December 7th and will be meeting at the Home at 6:00pm. After seeing the lights, we will gather downstairs at the Home for hot chocolate/tea and cookies. The congregation is invited to come to see the lights with us, to bring cookies/cheese & crackers, and/or to help provide transportation.  A sign up sheet will be available in Memorial Hall on Sunday, November 26th. It's always a beautiful sight and fun time seeing the lights!

White Elephant Regifting Leftover Exchange Extravaganza returns!  Thursday, December 28, 6pm.  Share a stress-free evening of food, fellowship, and fun.  Come as you are and bring what you have.  Bring your leftover holiday food and a wrapped "gift" of something you would like to get rid of.
