Joy to the world...

Central Baptist Church invites you to come and celebrate the Advent of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We will be celebrating the arrival of our Savior on December 24 at 6:30 PM. The format of our celebration is a a traditional lessons and carols, but with a twist. This year the readings will be introduced by short sketches, bringing a "shepherd's eye view" to the events of that night over 2000 years ago. The program, entitled Why Bother?, will include some shepherds, a heavenly choir of angles, and no anachronisms whatsoever. Please join us for this wonderful evening of celebration! It is Central's practice to give away our Christmas Eve offering each year, and this year is no exception. We will be collecting money to donate towards the Cedars of Lebanon campaign, ensuring a future for Camp Lebanon, one of the vital ministries of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey.

As is our tradition, we will conclude worship with our candle-lighting service.
