November Benevolence – Bread of Life Food Pantry

The Bread of Life Food Pantry opened its doors in August 2009 to serve the communities of Cinnaminson, Palmyra and Riverton.  The pantry is located at Epworth Methodist Church in Palmyra.  Donations are accepted Wednesdays from 1PM-4PM and Thursdays from 7PM-9PM.  Food distribution is the third Saturday of every month from 10AM-1PM.

Wednesday, November 15, OCC Drop Off 4:00PM-7:00PM

Come help if you are able to!  Bring dinner or a snack if you need it… drinks will be provided.

Roast Beef Dinner

Saturday, October 28th from 4pm to 7pm Calvary Presbyterian Church will host a roast beef dinner.  Dinner includes roast beef & gravy, coleslaw, applesauce, fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, and homemade desserts.  Contact the church office for tickets. $15 for adults, $6 for kids 6 to 12, free for kids under 6.

September  Benevolence – Hurricane Harvey Relief

Our church council, following the encouragement of ABCUSA’s General Secretary, has agreed to shift our special mission focus for September to Hurricane relief through One Great Hour of Sharing. As the situation unfolds, and long-term rebuilding efforts get under way, we’ll begin exploring how we partner with American Baptist Home Mission Societies to be part of the effort.  Thank you all for your support. I know Central will go above and beyond, as we always do.
