OCTOBER BENEVOLENCE - WORLD MISSION OFFERING
The mission focus for October is World Mission Offering supporting International Ministries of the American Baptist Church. “International Ministries, also known as the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society, works cross-culturally to invite people to become disciples of Jesus Christ and to proclaim, through both word and deed, God’s reign of justice, peace and abundant life for all creation.”
Bread of Life Food Pantry Thanksgiving collections
Bread of Life Food Pantry in Palmyra will be collecting turkeys, turkey breasts, and fixings for Thanksgiving dinners to be given out on November 16. They will be collecting the turkeys and breasts through Nov. 6th from 1-3 pm and Nov. 7th from 7-8pm. They will gladly take a monetary gift towards the purchase of any additional turkeys needed. Other items needed include stuffing, instant potatoes, canned yams, canned fruit, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned corn and green beans.

Urban Promise Event
Join our mission partner UrbanPromise for their Night of Promise banquet on Wednesday, October 30th at the Collingswood Scottish Rite ballroom and Theater. They have extended their early bird rate just for us. This is an evening of inspiration, great fellowship, and hope. You will be encouraged by all the good news!

Community Resources Available
Community Resource Navigators will be available at the Cinnaminson Library on 10/16 and 10/30 in October and 11/13 and 11/27 in November from 1:30-4:30. The navigators can assists with the following:
identify job opportunities and assist with applications.
assist with aid programs for food and finances
aid in connecting residents with relief and social service agencies
aid in locating assistance forms online
