Verse 1
One small Child in a land of a thousand
One small dream of a Savior tonight
One small hand reaching out to the starlight
One small city of life O
Verse 2
One king bringing his gold and riches
One king ruling an army of might
One king kneeling with incense and candlelight
One King bringing us life O
Chorus 1
See Him lying a cradle beneath Him
See Him smiling in the stall
See His mother praising His Father
See His tiny eyelids fall
Verse 3
One small light from the flame of a candle
One small light from a city of might
One small light from the stars in the endless night
One small light from a face O
Chorus 2
See the shepherds kneeling before Him
See the kings on bended knee
See His mother praising His Father
See the blessed Infant sleep
Verse 4
One small Child in a land of a thousand
One small dream in a people of might
One small hand reaching out to the starlight
One small Savior of life O

Meditation, “Love Revealed”
Worship Song, #272 "While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks"
Verse 1
While shepherds watched
Their flocks by night
All seated on the ground
The angel of the Lord came down
And glory shone around
And glory shone around
Verse 2
Fear not said he for mighty dread
Had seized their troubled mind
Glad tidings of great joy I bring
To you and all mankind
To you and all mankind
Verse 3
To you in David's town this day
Is born of David's line
The Savior who is Christ the Lord
And this shall be the sign
And this shall be the sign
Verse 4
The heavenly Babe you there shall find
To human view displayed
All meanly wrapped in swathing bands
And in a manger laid
And in a manger laid
Verse 5
All glory be to God on high
And to the earth be peace
Good will hence forth
From heaven to men
Begin and never cease
Begin and never cease

Benediction
December Benevolence
The Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO) originated in the mid-1930s, when American Baptist congregations received a Communion Fellowship Offering on the first Sunday of each month to support retired ministers, missionaries, their widowed spouses and elderly clergy within their churches. In 1977, American Baptist Churches USA launched RMMO to continue this appreciation of God’s service.
This years RMMO theme is “Transformed by Generosity” with supporting Scripture from 2 Corinthian 3:18: “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit”.
Code Blue Shelter Overnight Staffing
On behalf of Christian Caring Center:
We want to request your assistance regarding the Code Blue Shelters. Like most shelters across the state, we are experiencing a severe shortage of overnight staff. There are two overnight staff on each shift. The staff will oversee up to 14 adult male and female guests when the County declares Code Blue. A Code Blue is announced when the temperature drops to 32 degrees or colder. We serve guests a prepared dinner, supervise them as they watch movies, put together puzzles, or read. You may assist them as needed with simple tasks. There are COVID protocols in place that need to be also followed. Please see the attached job description for more details. This would be a paid internship of $50/ night. If interested, please email, and request an application at christiancaringcenter@yahoo.com
Thank you for your consideration,
Madelyn Sutton
