Call to Worship
In your wisdom, O God, you call us here to worship you.
We gather, alive to the Word of God.
You call us to be fully alive with your life abundant,
ready to listen and respond with heart, soul, strength, and mind.
We listen, alive to the Word of God.
You call us to be always watchful for your Word of wisdom,
sometimes startling and unexpected,
sometimes still and quiet,
but always dwelling among us.
We watch and wait for the Word of God.
Worship Song, #139 "Great is Thy Faithfulness"
VERSE 1
Great is Thy faithfulness
O God my Father
There is no shadow
Of turning with Thee
Thou changest not
Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been
Thou forever wilt be
CHORUS
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning
New mercies I see
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me
VERSE 2
Summer and winter
And springtime and harvest
Sun moon and stars
In their courses above
Join with all nature
In manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness
Mercy and love
CHORUS
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning
New mercies I see
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me
VERSE 3
Pardon for sin
And a peace that endureth
Thy own dear presence
To cheer and to guide
Strength for today
And bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine
With ten thousand beside
CHORUS
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning
New mercies I see
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me

Intro
Oh oh
Verse 1
Here in this worn and weary land
Where many a dream has died
Like a tree planted by the water
We never will run dry
Pre-Chorus
So living water flowing through
God we thirst for more of You
Fill our hearts and flood our souls
With one desire
Chorus
Just to know You and to make You known
We lift Your name on high
Shine like the sun make darkness run and hide
We know we were made for so much more
Than ordinary lives
It's time for us to more than just survive
We were made to thrive
Verse 2
Into Your Word we're digging deep
To know our Father's heart
Into the world we're reaching out
To show them who You are
Bridge
Joy unspeakable
Faith unsinkable
Love unstoppable
Anything is possible
(REPEAT 3X)
Interlude
Oh oh
Oh oh
Ending
We were made to thrive

Benediction
November Benevolence - Operation Christmas Child / Bread of Life
One Sunday morning in 2000, Pastor Durn asked for a volunteer to attend a meeting concerning a new mission. So was the start of Central’s involvement with Operation Christmas Child.
Now, we enter our 22nd year as a Drop-Off Center for OCC. But this year will be quite different from the others. No more inviting participants into the church building for refreshments but, instead, meeting people in their vehicles clad in masks, gloves, and shields.
The outward appearance will be different, but the message is the same: someone cares and God loves us. You are packing a shoebox gift for a child who has no hidden agenda, no political inclinations, just a need to know Jesus.
There are several ways for you to help in our part of the ministry:
Build your own shoe box(es)
(a) If you would like a reminder of what to pack, check out What to pack
(b) If you would rather not go out to stores, did you know you can build a shoebox online for $25? Besides essential items, like hygiene and school supplies, you get to choose toys, games, and other items to go into your shoebox. And the $9 shipping fee is included in that price. Here is the link.Adopt the shipping price for one or more of the church’s shoeboxes. Thank you to all who have brought supplies to the church throughout the year for the OCC shoeboxes. It’s planned for the church to fill 30 boxes, 10 for each age level. You can help further by donating the shipping price of $9 per box.
Volunteer to receive shoeboxes at the church. If you can help, it would be appreciated. This is the schedule of times the church will receive shoeboxes:
Mon, Nov. 15: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Tue, Nov. 16: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Wed, Nov. 17: 11:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Thu, Nov. 18: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Fri, Nov. 19: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Sat, Nov. 20: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Sun, Nov. 21: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Mon, Nov. 22: 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Pray for, among other concerns, the collection of the shoeboxes and the safety of the volunteers involved.
FOOD PANTRY THANKSGIVING COLLECTION
Now through November 8
Wednesdays 1-3 PM & Thursdays 7-8 PM
On November 20, our goal is to provide our client families with food for their holiday meal—in addition to the usual pantry food. You can help by donating now through November 8 the following: turkeys, stuffing, instant potatoes, canned corn, and green beans. Turkeys will be collected through November 16. Donations can be brought to the Pantry Wednesdays 1-3 PM and Thursdays 7-8 PM. You may also bring them to Central Baptist Church and we will se that they are delivered.
Advent/Christmas Decorating!
On Sunday, Nov. 21st, we will be decorating the church for the Advent/Christmas season after the worship service. We also need to clear out the choir loft that day as well. Please come out to help!
Moorestown Singers Holiday Concert
On Sunday Dec. 5th, we will need to clear off the pulpit area platform after the worship service in order to prepare for the Moorestown Singers Holiday Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 8th.
