Call to Worship
Be exalted, O God,
above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.
My heart is steadfast, O God,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.
—Psalm 57:5, 7, 11, NIV
Worship Song, “Be Exalted O God”
Verse
I will give thanks to Thee
O Lord among the people
I will sing praises to Thee
Among the nations
For Thy steadfast love is great
Is great to the heavens
And Thy faithfulness
Thy faithfulness to the clouds
Chorus
Be exalted O God above the heavens
Let Thy glory be over all the earth
Be exalted O God above the heavens
Let Thy glory be over all the earth

Worship Song, “Blest Be The Tie That Binds”
Verse 1
Blest be the tie that binds
Our hearts in Christian love
The fellowship of kindred minds
Is like to that above
Verse 2
Before our Father's throne
We pour our ardent prayers
Our fears our hopes our aims are one
Our comforts and our cares
Verse 3
We share our mutual woes
Our mutual burdens bear
And often for each other flows
The sympathizing tear
Verse 4
When we asunder part
It gives us inward pain
But we shall still be joined in heart
And hope to meet again
Verse 5
This glorious hope revives
Our courage by the way
While each in expectation lives
And longs to see the day
Verse 6
From sorrow toil and pain
And sin we shall be free
And perfect love and friendship reign
Through all eternity

Benediction
July Benevolence - Urban Promise
”Our mission at UrbanPromise has been to equip Camden's children and young adults with the skills necessary for academic achievement, life management, spiritual growth, and Christian leadership. We strive to fulfill this mission through after-school programs, summer camps, two schools, experiential learning, job training, and a host of other programs that challenge youth to develop and realize their potential.” http://urbanpromiseusa.org/home
Urban Promise offers K-12 education as a private, Christian school featuring small class size and opportunities to learn outside the classroom. Additional programs include AfterSchool programs and Summer camps; Street Leader program; UrbanTrekkers; Urban BoatWorks; and Wellness Center.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fundraisers and traditional sources of revenue are not available yet the need to support the school and staff continues. “A vibrant, healthy UrbanPromise will be needed in a post-coronavirus Camden. We cannot close our doors. We cannot retreat.”
Children’s Book Drive
Central is joining with some other local churches to collect new and/or gently used children’s books, ages infant to grade six, to donated to BookSmile.org. This organization supports under-served communities in New Jersey, helping children build up their personal libraries and encouraging strong literacy.

Central Baptist Church (outside the ramp door behind the building)
Bethany Lutheran Church
Sacred Heart
Palmyra Harbour Clubhouse
Be a Special Part of Worship this Summer
During the Summer months, Central Baptist Church holds our morning worship outdoors and we'd love for you to be a special part of the service!
If you would would like to sing or play an instrument (or both) during worship this Summer please contact us using the form below. Given that this is a Christian worship service, selections do need to be sacred songs which express the Christian faith.
Make sure to include a few dates you would be available in your message!
