Assisting Living facilities and nursing homes have been among the hardest hit by the CoVid-19 pandemic. Aside from the risk of the disease spreading to both residents and staff, the social isolation forced on residents is putting intense psychological pressure on these communities. Pastor Patty Harris, chaplain of Riverview Estates in Riverton, NJ, has been working to ease this stress during our time of distancing.
