Our annual business meeting will be a bit different this year. With the continuing presence of CoVid-19, and with many people connecting to the church via the internet for their personal well-being, we won’t be able to have our usual pot-luck lunch. Pastor Wes will miss Bill’s chicken, but this is a necessary precaution at this time.
Instead, we will hold a simultaneous online/in person business meeting after the worship service on October 18. Those who are physically present stick around as we shift gears, and those who connect at home will be invited to join a zoom call (this link will be sent out to church members closer to the meeting). The camera we use for worship will be shifted to the congregation, so folks can be seen, and we’ll put our wireless mic on a boom-poll so the folks at home will be able to hear when folks speak.
Our proposed budget will be made available Sunday, and an agenda will be sent to the congregation via our MailChimp list, as well as on this calendar entry, in the near future. Our Church Council, again, cannot thank everyone enough for all we are doing to stay connected and do good ministry during a trying time.
