May Benevolence — Baptist Camp Lebanon

May’s mission focus is Camp Lebanon, located in Lebanon, NJ and owned and operated by American Baptist Churches of New Jersey. Many in our community have personal experience with the camp as campers, parents, and supporters.

COVID-19 has disrupted every aspect of our lives and Camp Lebanon has also had its plans and activities disrupted. Registrations for summer camp are being accepted although there is uncertainty as to just what summer camp will look like in 2020.

What is certain is the good work done by Camp Lebanon since it opened in 1949. “Counselors from across the nation—and even from some foreign countries—come to Camp Lebanon for many reasons, but primarily because they find it to be a place to grow closer to God and to share His love with the campers. Children enjoy the love, warmth, laughter, tears, friendships, fun, and memories that last a lifetime.”

The cancellation of events due to COVID-19 has put an additional financial strain on the camp and your support is needed to ensure that Camp Lebanon can continue its work of demonstrating the love of Jesus through the splendor of God’s creation.
