Moving Indoors
As the weather turns colder, we're saying farewell to our outdoor worship setup and preparing to move indoors. Below are the mitigation strategies we are putting in place for the shift.
We recognize many people continue to have an understandable discomfort with being in crowds at this point, and understand that indoor gatherings may not be something people are willing to do. Rest assured our worship will continue to be streamed live, as we have for several years. We also encourage our community at home to join in during worship by commenting on the YouTube video or our Facebook post, sending texts to Pastor Wes, and participating in our litanies at home. We remain one community, gathered under one Savior.
Virus Mitigation
- Wear a mask at all times inside the building. It must cover both nose and mouth. As a mask primarily protects others from the wearer, we cannot allow exceptions.
- Sanitize your hands after touching common objects like door handles.
- We do not recommend using the bathrooms at church, but they will be open if needed. Each rest room is limited to single occupancy, and a sign is on each door to indicate if it's vacant or occupied. Please turn them upon entering and exited.
- Print bulletins will not be handed out
- Pew Bibles and Hymnals will be removed. Please use either the digital bulletin or print out the lyrics sheet from either central's website or mailchimp updates.
- Sit six feet away, in all directions, from all but immediate family members.
- Maintain social social distance at all times, make no physical contact with anyone not in your immediate family.
- We will see how people are handling our mitigation guidelines before making a decision on singing.
- If you are ill for any reason stay home. And we mean any, the small bit of wiggle room afforded to us by being outdoors does not exist inside. Church leadership will hold ourselves to the same standard.
- Should we encounter an unseasonably warm day, we reserve the right to move outdoors for worship.
Please reach out to Pastor Wes if there are other mitigation issues you would like to address.
