June Benevolence: One Great Hour of Sharing One Great Hour of Sharing is an offering that makes the love of Christ real for individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict, or severe economic hardship, and for those who serve them through gifts of money and time. Today, projects are underway in more than 100 countries, including the United States and Canada.
Summer Bible School - Bible School is coming soon and we are in need of some supplies! See our sign up sheets in Memorial Hallway to see what you can donate. We are also in need of small toys to give away as prizes. These can be new or gently used toys such as small stuffed animals, balls, stickers, etc. See Jen with questions! Any donations can be placed in the boxes on the tables. Thanks in advance for your help!
GDVA Mission Event & Annual Meeting - All are invited to this “bring-your-own-lawn-chair” family and kid friendly edition of our Annual Meeting, on Sunday June 22, 3-5pm at the Challenge Grove Park Picnic Shelter, Cherry Hill. Speaking will be Rev. Cheryl Jones (ABC missionary South Africa) and new Association “Youth Ministry Initiative” Coordinator Randy Van Osten. Information on how to RSVP on the bulletin board.
UrbanPromise: Paddle for Promise - Are you ready for a summer adventure? On July 1-2, join UrbanPromise in raising funds to employ teens in Camden by supporting Paddle for Promise, a 50 mile, 2 day paddling adventure down the Delaware from Trenton to Camden to Wilmington.
