Since 1935, American Baptists have contributed to special offerings taken up in their churches for retired ABC ministers, missionaries and their widowed spouses. In 1977, American Baptist Churches USA launched the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO) to become intentional about this long tradition of expressing thankfulness.

Church Christmas Cards – Have a card you would like to send to a church member? Save your stamps! Bring the card to Memorial Hall, place it in the big red Christmas box, and your card will be delivered on Sunday. Share some Christmas Spirit, and consider donating your saved postage money to the Missions Fund!

Interfaith Hospitality Network: 21-27 Dec. – Funds are needed to provide hotel housing for 24-27 December.  Volunteers are needed 21-23 December.  See Amanda for details.

Christmas Eve Service – Central Baptist Church will be holding it’s annual Christmas Eve Candle-lighting Service on this Wednesday, Dec. 24th at 6:30pm. It will be an evening of songs, scripture readings, a meditation and of course, the lighting of the candles as we sing “Silent Night”. Come out and join us in celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ride A Christmas Mile – This years Ride a Christmas Mile will be held on Sunday December 28th, 3PM at the Palmyra Moravian.

“Post Christmas” night – The Greater Delaware Valley Association of ABCNJ would like to invite you to a complimentary “Post Christmas” night of relaxation, food, & fellowship January 17th at Riverview Estates. It is our way of saying “Thank you” for your work in God’s Kingdom as a part of our larger church family. We invite you to share in a social hour from 5-6 and a meal at 6pm that will conclude no later than 8pm. There is no cost. Attire is dressy-casual. Speak with Wes if you’d like to attend!

Angel Tree – With the Holiday Season fast approaching consider donating a special gift for a resident of Riverview Estates. Our Angel Tree will be up in december; the gifts received will be used to fulfill our resident’s Christmas gift bags. Especially useful items are:
washcloth & towels, postage stamps, scrap-booking supplies, batteries (AAA, AA), long-handles bath brushes, flashlights, bed side lamps, toothbrushes, combs, and pans & pads of paper.
Gifts can be brought to Riverview Estates, or deposited in the Riverview Estates Box in Memorial Hall.

I like getting the bulletin early so I can read the scripture before the service. I love it.
